Day 1 Angkor Wat Sunrise

ITINERARY:
You will be picked up from your hotel before sunrise at between 4:30 am - 5:00 am. Visit one of the world's cultural heritage, Angkor Wat, the largest temple in the world as you soak in the breathtaking sunrise. The magnificent architecture and charming light and shadow are even more memorable with the light morning mist that is most often present in this region of Cambodia. As your expert guide tells you stories about the bas-reliefs, they'll also provide insight into life during the height of the Khmer Empire. After visiting Angkor Wat, we will have breakfast nearby the temple, please ask your hotel to pack a breakfast box for you. We will then head Bayon temple, which has become a world-famous landmark and was built by King Jayavarman VII, who was also a Mahayana Buddhist. Bayon is also the only monastery that has survived to this day and was used as a place for worship, education, and administration. We will also explore Baphoun temple and the Terrace of Elephants before having lunch (at your own expense).
After that, visit the Ta Prohm Temple, which has been left in its original state and is partly overgrown with trees and huge roots. It was used as a backdrop for the film Tomb Raider starring Angelina Jolie
Day 2 Tonle Sap (Half Day Tour)
TINERARY:
Meet your English-speaking guide at your hotel at between 2:00 pm – 2:30 pm and drive to the quiet fishing
village of Kompong Phluk and board a shared boat. Visit the serene floating village and discover the centuries-old
lifestyle of the lake's inhabitants. Cruise on the Tonlesap Lake and enjoy the natural splendor of the area. After a peaceful day on the lake, return to the port and drive back to Siem Reap Town. Explore not only the biggest lake in South East Asia with its beautiful scenery, but also the culture of the local people who live on and off the water. Relax for a bit on the way back and then hop-off for a short visit to the village of Khmer with its traditional Khmer houses. Arrive back at your hotel around 6:30 PM.
