Day 1:Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will be picked up by our guide from the airport/your hotel in Entebbe/Kampala after an early morning breakfast at 07:00hrs. You will be directed about the whole safari before you travel to Bwindi Impenetrable which is found in the southwestern part of Uganda. Along the way there is a local drum and craft making community so you will have a visit here. Then another stopover at the Equator to take fascinating photos, also feel free to buy some crafts and souvenirs. You will the proceed with your journey with another stopover in Mbarara town where you will have your lunch . Afterwards, continue to Bwindi-the gorilla land whereby you will arrive in the late afternoon. Check in the lodge, relax in the evening and have Dinner as your prepare for your gorilla trekking the next morning
Day 2: Do gorilla trekking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for evening relaxation and overnight
After breakfast, gather at the respective park headquarters for briefing at 8am and eventually start your gorilla trekking encounter. You follow the trails of your respective gorilla family traversing the forest with is hilly forested landscapes and deep saddles. Kindly note that it’s also not so easy to predict the time to be taken while trekking and this will mainly depend on the location of some families since some stay really far from the headquarters. The gorilla trekking encounter tends to last 2 – 8 hours inclusive of one (1) hour direct encounter with them. Seeing the critically endangered apes as they forage, socialize, the young gorillas rolling themselves on tree branches and the Silverback demonstrating his authority is a moment of wonder that derives remarkable excitement. After your gorilla trek you will return to the park headquarters to get your gorilla trekking certificates and then your driver/guide will transfer you to lake Bunyonyi for a relaxation evening
Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala
After having an early breakfast, Check-out and start your journey back to Entebbe/Kampala passing through rolling hills with terraces and also you will have a great time viewing the lush vegetation of the different areas you will go through. Have lunch in Mbarara and another stop will be at Mbambire drum makers point. You will then continue to Kampala arriving in the late afternoon. The guide will drop you off to the hotel or at the airport to catch your flight back home
