Day 1: Kigali
Kigali to Volcanoes National Park When you arrive at Kigali airport in the morning your guide will first take you for a half day tour of Kigali city, have lunch at a restaurant and later in the afternoon transfer to volcanoes national park. Dinner and overnight at Da Vinci lodge/ La Bambou lodge/ Muhabura hotel
Day 2: Volcanoes National Park
Gorilla tracking and visit Iby’iwacu cultural village After breakfast, you head to kinigi visitor center meet other visitors for briefing. A cup of coffee is served as local dancers entertain you. Afterwards, you head to the forest edge and start hiking through the forest. Trekking can take 3-5 hours but it worth it to spend 1 hour face to face with gorillas in their natural habitat.You will have lunch when you return from the gorillas and later in the afternoon go for a cultural walk at Iby’Iwacu cultural village. There are many activities such as visiting king’s house where you dress as king and queen, learning how to cook or use of herbs as medicine, visiting BaTwa. To have cultural encounter, we recommend overnight at iby’iwacu cultural village rather than visiting for afternoon time.
Day 3: Kigali
Transfer back to Kigali After breakfast, embark on the drive that will bring you back to Kigali city for departure. End of Tour
