Introduction
Our 3 night breaks are designed to either work as a self-contained budget Maldives experience or as a start to an independent stay in the archipelago.
Dhiffushi in North Male Atoll, is surrounded by a turquoise lagoon and pristine white sandy beaches; a typical
postcard tropical island which can be unusual for a local island. Dhiffushi is a very typical Maldivian local island currently with 5 guesthouses. It is a well-known fishing island. There are two lovely white sand tourist beaches with sun loungers where bikinis can be worn and you can see the ocean from almost any spot on the island. There are a few local cafes and a population of circa 1500. Day visits to nearby resorts are available subject to availability and there are snorkeling excursions and sunset cruises on offer.
Note: The Maldives is a Muslim country and therefore alcohol is not available on local islands. Subject to availability day/evening visits to resorts can be arranged. Bikinis are also not allowed to be worn on local island beaches; however most of our guesthouses offer private gardens or private beach areas for guests.
All of our guesthouse accommodation is handpicked to provide a balance of comfort, good service, local atmosphere and value for money. We have chosen a selection of locally operated guesthouses that provide comfortable clean rooms, friendly service and good food. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, AC, ceiling fans and complimentary Wi-Fi, whilst water, tea and coffee is always a vailable. Most of the guesthouses are single or double story comprised of a maximum of 10 rooms. Some are set facing out to the ocean with a terrace or balcony. Others are built around a private garden or beach area, but in each you can be assured of a warm welcome.

Day 1: Male
Arrive Male International Airport where you will be greeted by one of our team who will assist you with your public speedboat transfer to the local island of Dhiffushi in North Male Atoll. The speedboat operates every day and takes 50 minutes to journey across the Indian Ocean to Dhiffushi.
Late afternoon experience Maldivian afternoon tea, savoury and sweet short eats served with black tea.
Day 2
Following breakfast head out by speedboat to enjoy a guided snorkeling trip to a nearby reef to discover the underwater world of the Maldives. Keep your eyes open for turtles which are frequently encountered at this reef as well as reef sharks and rays, you never know what you may discover.
The afternoon is yours to relax on the white sand beach or for those feeling a little more energetic take advantage of the many water sport options available including diving. Dinner this evening will be taken Robinson Crusoe style on the beach (subject to weather conditions).
Day 3
Today is free for you to make the most of the beautiful beaches or explore the local side of Dhiffushi life. As the afternoon draws to a close head out to sea and enjoy a perfect moment when the sinking sun kisses the horizon, lighting the waves aflame in brilliant colours of gold and orange. Added to this is the possibility to spot dolphins, the perfect way to bring your Maldives trip to a memorable end.
Day 4
Following breakfast you will transfer by public speedboat to Male and on to Male International Airport or your onward destination.
