The starting point of your short hiking holiday is Bad Wiessee at Lake Tegernsee. The first tour takes you up to the Gindelalm and along quiet forest paths to the shores of the Schliersee. On the next hiking stage you explore the beautiful nature between Schliersee and Bayrischzell, experience a cable car ride to the mountain station at Taubenstein and hike along the high trail to Rotwandhaus. Continue to the tranquil Soinsee lake and along alpine meadows to Bayrischzell. The last hiking stage of your short hiking holiday takes you on a circular hike past a waterfall to the Wendelstein-Alm and Wendelsteinhöhle. After a break in the beer garden with a magnificent panorama, you hike down into the valley and finally to your final stage destination in Bayrischzell.

You start your short hiking holiday in Bad Wiessee on Lake Tegernsee. In three daily stages, you will walk along good hiking paths and forest roads through the natural idyll in Bavaria. The hikes are scheduled to take about three to five hours and cover a distance of five to 15 kilometres. Time for refreshment in the lakes is guaranteed!

Day 1 Arrival to Bad Wiessee
Arrival at Bad Wiessee. Enjoy the beautiful landscape and relax.
Day 2 Bad Wiessee – Lake Schliersee
From Tegernsee you soon reach alpine pastures via a steep forest trail surrounding the well-known Alpine beer garden Neureuth. After a break with lovely views onto the lake you casually continue your tour to the Gindelalm alp and then you descend along forest paths and forest roads to Lake Schliersees and after the marina you reach the pretty and neat spa park situated directly at the lakeside of Lake Schliersee.
Day 3 Lake Schliersee – Bayrischzell
A light and airy cable car ride takes you to the summit station on Mount Taubenstein. Then you walk on a high-altitude path with brilliant views to the Rotwandhaus, where you have the opportunity to climb to the peak of the Rotwand if you fancy. Onwards via the picturesque cirque ‚Großtiefentaler Kessel’ to Lake Soinsee with its idyllic location, then along alpine pastures and flowering meadows to Bayrischzell.
Day 4 Round Trip onto Mount Wendelstein and departure
The King-Maximilian-path leads you past a waterfall to the Wendelstein-Alp. From there you walk all the way to the summit with its impressive meteorological observatory and along the panorama-loop-path to the Wendelstein cave with its accessible underground tunnels. After a snack in the panorama-beer garden, you take the cable car back into the valley and casually walk back to Bayrischzell.
