Day 1: Transfer from airport to hotel in Cartagena
You will begin this tour arriving at the city of Cartagena, where you will be picked up at the airport and transferred to the hotel of your choice. There you will be able to relax and rest before starting this wonderful adventure.
Day 2: Historic Center - Gold Museum - La Popa - San Felipe Castle
Begin your tour of Cartagena, considered the Bastion of the Crown, visiting the Historic Center of the city, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984, let yourself be enchanted by its architecture, its colonial essence that is still preserved, the combination of modernity that blends with its traditions, visit the Gold Museum opened in 1982, a place that houses a large number of gold and ceramic pieces of pre-Columbian cultures of the Zenú culture. Go to La Popa de la Galera located in the Cerro de la Galera, where you can find a beautiful church belonging to the Order of Augustinian Recollects, one of the most beautiful cloisters of Colombia. Descend and visit El Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas, a fortification that suffered assiduous attacks by English and French conquerors, a piece full of history. Relax and enjoy the wonderful beaches of Cartagena for the rest of the afternoon.
Day 3: Totumo Volcano - Afternoon at the beach - Sunset on Catamaran or yacht
You will visit the Totumo Volcano, a large volcanic cone full of mud where you can take a bath in the various natural formations found in the place, this beautiful tourist attraction is one of the wonders of the Caribbean region that can not be missed. Enjoy the surrounding beaches, and finish your afternoon sunbathing aboard the Catamaran or Yacht, a private boat for a tour of nature, hiking and aquatic life.
Day 4: Rosario Islands - White Beach - Barrier Reef
In the surroundings of the city of Cartagena you can enjoy different islands with the authenticity of its beaches, this day you will have the opportunity to visit the Rosario Islands, where you will find one of the natural national parks of Colombia whose purpose is to preserve and care for the most important coral reefs of the Caribbean coasts, enjoy the Rosario Islands Aquarium, one of the most beautiful and colorful wonders of the Caribbean. You will stroll along Playa Blanca on the island of Baru, a long beach of calm waters, with the striking turquoise color characteristic of the coral reefs in the area where you will enjoy a delicious lunch typical of the locality. You will conclude your day by visiting the barrier reef, a surprising finding of the survival of the largest coral reef in the region thanks to its resistance despite the adverse conditions to which it is exposed.
Day 5: Transfer from hotel to airport
On the fifth and last day, we will have breakfast as usual at the hotel and transfer to the airport in Cartagena, ending this extraordinary experience.
