During the months of July and August, the Churchill River is teeming with beluga whales who migrate into the warm, shallow waters to give birth and feed on fish. Known as the “canaries of the sea”, these friendly and inquisitive creatures will capture your heart as you enjoy their whale song by boat. While on land, enjoy the view as the surrounding landscape erupts into colourful summer blooms. You will explore the Churchill Wildlife Management Area by Tundra Buggy® for your chance to see a multitude of northern wildlife. You might even have the opportunity to see the first of the summer polar bears as they begin their migration into the area. *Due to the unpredictable nature of northern travel, your direct flight may be subject to refuelling or other stops

Itinerary
Day 1 Welcome!

Guests will check into their hotel; Evening meet and greet hosted by Frontiers North Interpretive Guid

Day 2 Churchill Adventure Begins

Upon arrival, you will be met by a Frontiers North representative and enjoy a brief introduction to Churchill as you're transferred to your hotel.

Take part in a Road and Trails Hike. The tour will take you through the town and surrounding areas of Churchill. Keep your eyes open for wildlife, and there will be many opportunities to take pictures along the way.

Enjoy some free time exploring the community. Be sure to visit the Parks Canada Interpretive Centre, the Itsanitaq Museum, and the Polar Bears International House.

Day 3 Beluga Whales and Prince of Wales Fort Tour

Tundra Buggy Adventure. The day will be spent observing and photographing the flora and fauna on the tundra. Casual, comfortable, layered clothing is recommended. The Tundra Buggy is equipped with a heater and restroom facilities. A picnic-style lunch and refreshments will be served

Day 4 Last Day in Churchill

Enjoy some free time exploring the community. Be sure to visit the Parks Canada Interpretive Centre, the Itsanitaq Museum, and the Polar Bears International House.

Meet at Fifty Eight North (located at 124 Kelsey Blvd.) for transfer to the Churchill airport for the flight home
