Day 1 Salona and Klis

Enjoy in panoramic view from medieval fortress in Klis, place also known as city of Meereen from series Game of Thrones.  Klis fortress greatest significance for Croatian history dates to the 15th century when it found itself at the crossroads of the three empires - the Ottoman Empire, the Venetian Republic and the Habsburg Monarchy. From Klis cycle to Salona. 

In ancient time it was the capital of the Roman province, but at the time of the migration of the people it was abandoned, and later east of the ruins of the ancient city developed the Croatian medieval city of Solin.
