The Danube Cycle Path does not end in Vienna! East of Vienna begins the fascinating landscape of the Pannonian Plain. It is a vast, fertile land with sparse elevations. The fascinating world of floodplains holds one of the last primeval forests in Europe, the Danube Floodplain National Park. The Slovak capital Bratislava enchants with a lovingly restored old town and countless sights.

Day 1: Vienna - Bad Deutsch Altenburg region, approx. 46 km
The Damm cycle path leads you through the idyllic landscape of the National Park to the spa town of Bad Deutsch Altenburg. Immerse yourself in the Roman world at the nearby Carnuntum Archaeological Park. And the Carnuntum wine region offers countless delicacies.
Day 2: Bad Deutsch Altenburg region - Bratislava, approx. 21 km
It is a short time to reach the border town of Hainburg, nestled in a fairytale landscape. The cycle path leads directly to Bratislava through the meadows.
Day 3: Bratislava - Vienna
With the bus bus it goes comfortably back to Vienna. The bus departs several times a day and also stops at Schwechat Airport, which can be booked in advance.
