It is this memorable aerial odyssey that brings you to the best site of Worlds. Nature lovers, holidaymakers, and extreme adventure enthusiasts may now visit this place at Kala Patthar to see Mt Everest up close.

In Nepal, Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour with landing at Kala Patthar is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Everest base camp by helicopter is the biggest day trip to see one of nature's highest and most famous mountains, Mount Everest.

It is the most convenient way to reach Everest Base Camp. A trek to Everest base camp takes up 12-15 days. But with this tour by helicopter, you'll do it and be back in one day only.

This 1-day Everest Base Camp helicopter tour, with a stop at Kala Patthar (5,550m), originates in Kathmandu. When we finally leave, in the early morning of departure day, we will pick you up from your hotel and board a special charter flight to Lukla Airport.

On your flight east to Lukla, you'll have the opportunity for a bird's-eye view of the Kathmandu Valley. Next comes the magnificent view of snow-capped mountains, like Jugal Himal, Gaurishankar, and Langtang.

The helicopter will stay at Lukla Airport for about 15 minutes to refuel, giving you time to enjoy the Everest region's new scenery. Soon, your helicopter is in the air and over Sagarmatha National Park.

The helicopter flies over Phakding, Namche bazaar, Syangboche, Tengboche, Pheriche, Gorak Shep, and the Everest base camp. The plane finally arrives at Kala Patthar (5492 m in altitude), a very popular stop appreciated for the panoramic views of not only Mt. Everest but also Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Changtse and Cho Oyu to its left; Khumbutse and the top of Lhotse across from it.

For safety's sake only, your helicopter will not land at Kala Patthar when bad weather makes landing impossible.

After Kala Patthar views, you will fly in your helicopter to Everest View Hotel at Syanboche for a delicious breakfast. Following breakfast, your helicopter will fly to Lukla Airport and land again for refuelling before returning. After the ride back to Kathmandu, however, your helicopter ride will be over.

Preparations will be made at the Syangboche airstrip (12,345 ft) and then move onto Kala Patthar. Your helicopter will be well-equipped. This being said your helicopter will comprise a 4-litre cylinder of Mountaineering Oxygen with regulator and hi-tech Top out Mask. Gearing up, we wing over to Kala Patthar.

After you see Mt. Everest for thirty minutes or participate in a special meeting, the plane flies back to Syangboche and up to Kathmandu. The Dudh Kosi valley, Sherpa settlements, and Namche Bazaar with beautiful mountains--snow capped, Tengboche Monastery and the Everest base camp, as well as Khumbu glaciers, dot this area. This provides one of the best chances to glimpse some fine scenery.

The Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour is the only trip in one day from Kathmandu, offering you a close look at Mt. Everest. This trek with us promises you that its price and quality are genuine.

The Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour is so well arranged that you will love every minute. It seems a little expensive compared to the Everest Base Camp Trek.
