Day 1: Leave the Capital to reach the magical place of Mantasoa
Our team will pick you up at the hotel after breakfast for a presentation of the program and handing over travel documents. Then, departure immediately from the capital to join Mantasoa located 68km from Antananarivo on the road leading to Tamatave. Mantasoa is a wonderful place to spend a good historical trip in Madagascar. Along the way, have the opportunity to visit Akamasoa home founded by Father PEDRO in 1989, which still resists until now to fight poverty in Madagascar. Day 2: A wonderful excursion to Mantasoa
A day devoted to pleasant discoveries on an artificial lake of 2000 hectares and 150 km of "coastline" surrounded by hundreds of km of tracks in the middle of pine and eucalyptus forests. Our morning is dedicated by an excursion in pirogue for nautical activities which offers an incomparable context all the comfort and pleasures. Picnic lunch during this activity. In the afternoon, let's continue the adventure with a mountain bike ride to visit the village. On the dirt road, we can meet pine forests and beautiful nature or exchange with people to discover the true history of the village. Let's end the day with a possible visit to the cultural and historical sites of Mantasoa, including those of Jean Laborde which is really interesting, or to other sites of the village which can be discovered according to the schedule. Day 3: Last exploration of the Mantasoa village before back to the capital.
After breakfast, we would still have the opportunity to meet the beekeepers of Mantasoa who have really good and effective experiences in this field. We can see that Madagascar is a large island with a very rich biodiversity in Fauna and Flora, of which the Malagasy bees are part of a strain unique in the world. Lunch at the restaurant.
