Day 1: Addis Ababa

Arrive at 07:00am morning arrive in Addis Ababa airport and upon arrival you will be transferred to your Hotel. If you want you can sleep till lunch time and PM begin your city tour, otherwise morning you can make city tour. Your city tour take a tour of this bustling city, dotted with Italian architecture, interesting churches and friendly inhabitants.

This relatively new city, established by the Emperor Menelik II in 1887, is one of contrasts – the Addis Sheraton, with its ‘singing fountain’, is one of the most luxurious in all of Africa, yet you only need to travel a few streets away to find yourself among busy markets, dirt roads and the odd goat or two wandering the street. Day 2: Debre Libanos

Day Trip to Debre Libanos and Blue Nile Gorge Drive 110 kilometres north of Addis Ababa over the Entoto Mountains passing through the Sululta Plains to the Monastery of Debre Libanos, found in the 13th century by Abune Tekle Haymanot. Overlooking the Jemma River Gorge, a tributary of the Blue Nile, this monastery owns ecclesiastical, cultural and historical relics, and boasts a rare grove of trees that have disappeared from elsewhere in the region. On the way you can also visit the 16th century bridge that is still used today and believed to have been built by the Portuguese. Return back to Addis in the late afternoon. Overnight Hotel

Day 3: Lake Ziway

Day Trip to Debre Zeit , Lake-Koka, Lake-Ziway After breakfast drive to Debre Zeit to visit the Crater Lakes with their bird life. Proceed through the rift-valley region to artificial Lake of Koka to spot various species of birds. Continue driving to Lake Ziway- (the largest Northern Ethiopian riftvalley Lake, it is the home of 5 little volcanic Islands) here you will spot various species of water birds. Return to Addis in the late Afternoon.
