Itinerary
Day 1: Cape Town – Oudtshoorn, South Africa

Drive along Route 63 and Cango Caves Tour Start your adventure driving along Route 62, the longest wine route in the world. Take in its rugged landscapes with high mountains and vast plains dotted with vineyards and orchards. Stop at a farm stall to sample local delights on your way to Oudtshoorn, the ostrich capital of the world. Head to your first adventure: the fascinating Cango Caves. Go underground to explore its limestone chambers. See the intriguing shapes of its stalactites and stalagmites, and the remnants of Khoikhoi paintings. Choose between the easy-going Heritage Tour to test the cave’s acoustics and learn about the formation and evolution of dripstone, or the Adventure tour, which allows you to twist and wiggle your way through limestone chimneys. Spend the rest of the day in the quaint town of Oudtshoorn. Don’t forget to try its local delicacies.Drive along the Garden Route and visit the Cango Caves 

Day 2: Oudtshoorn – Sedgefield, South Africa

Canoeing in Touws River and optional activities Start the day with an optional Elephant Bush Walk (R405), where you’ll have the opportunity to walk along three rescued elephants in their natural environment. The beautiful creatures were orphaned due to illegal poaching in northern South Africa, and then transferred to Buffelsdrift. You’ll have the chance to take many pictures as you want and ask questions to the rangers. Continue with an afternoon paddle along the Touws River, deep in Wilderness National Park. Paddle, let the gentle current guide you, and enjoy some bird-watching. Reach Bloukrans Bridge, the world’s highest commercial bridge bungy jump. Hurtle face first down the 216m drop only to spring back up on their elastic cord like a yoyo (R990). If heights are not your thing, go visit the famous 1000-year-old yellowwood tree with a 90m circumference. Explore the town of Sedgefield for the rest of the evening.Start the day with an optional Elephant Bush Walk, and continue with an afternoon paddle along the reed-lined banks of the Touws River. Then choose between bungee-jumping or visiting a famous 1000-year yellowwood tree.

Day 3: Sedgefield - Cape Town, South Africa

Game drive and bush walk Your last day will begin as you drive away from Table Mountain on your way to the Garden Route. The first stop is in a malaria-free private game reserve, where you’ll hop on a 4x4 and go on a game drive. Try to spot the elephants, lions, white rhinos and other creatures with the help of an experienced game ranger. Hop-off the vehicle and go on a peaceful bush walk. Follow your game ranger as you track wildlife and learn about the beneficial properties of the plants of habitats such as coastal renosterveldt and Cape fynbos. Your adventure ends as you drive back to Cape Town and enjoy the views of this extraordinary route.Go on a game drive and try to spot wildlife. Then go on a bush walk and learn about the ecosystem. Drive back to Cape Town and enjoy the views.
