Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer Bratislava - High Tatras Mountains

In the morning, we’ll head straight into the High Tatras. Through the Low Tatras National Park a 3 and half -hour journey takes us to the mountain lake Strbske Pleso.

Take a hike around the mountain lake.

After short hike we’ll move to the next place in the High Tatras region.

Duration: 3 hours of hiking

Your well-appointed accommodation will provide you with an excellent dinner, and breakfast the next day.

Day 2: Slovak Paradise - the River Hornád canyon and Klastorska gorge 

The river Hornad canyon is an unique experience with hiking paths above the river. More than 1 hour journey takes us to the place where another one gorge starts.

Klastorska gorge is an amazing place with ladders, chains and waterfalls. There are many waterfalls on relatively short route of the gorge. It is moderately difficult round hike.

The first part goes along the exposed canyon section of so-called Prielom Hornádu secured by the footbridges, chains, footboards and ladders. It is important to be very careful during the crossing.

The second part consists of a hike on a comfortable terrain on the pathways in woods, and the whole hike ends in Kláštorisko.

Duration: 5 hours of hiking

After the hike we'll visit one of UNESCO heritage sites, Levoča medieval town or Spis castle, one of the largest in the region.

Day 3: High Tatras Experience and transfer back to Bratislava

The following morning we’ll go for a hike to the so-called Huge Waterfall.

The route takes us via Starý Smokovec – Hrebienok – Reinerova Hut – Obrovský Vodopád (the waterfall) – Zamkovského Hut and back. This is an easy walk, suitable also for less experienced hikers.

We take a cableway up to Hrebienok, and from there we embark on hiking trails to Reinerova Hut and Zamkovského Hut.

On the way back, we’ll stop by the waterfalls called Vodopády Studeného potoka (Coldstream Waterfalls). We’ll visit the famous Tatras villages and nice tourist paths with breathtaking views.

On our tour, we’ll see also some castles, go through two national parks, go on a leisurely hike, sample Slovak cuisine, and enjoy breathtaking views!
