Itinerary
DAY 1- Arrive in Smokovec

Welcome in Smokovec nestled in the shadow of Gerlachovsky Peak, the highest peak in Slovakia. Upon arrival, you will be briefed on the week's program at your hotel. Then, if time allows, take a stroll in Stary Smokovec, the oldest village in the Tatras, renowned for its traditional architecture, local shops, and delightful cafes offering a taste of delicious Slovakian cuisine

Accommodation: Hotel Villa Siesta (or similar)

DAY 2- Discover the Tatras' Mountain Hut Heritage: A Trek to Rainerova, Teryho and Zamkovskeho Hut with Cold Creek Waterfalls and Funicular Ride. 

Enjoy a mountain tram ride to Tatranska Lomnica this morning before taking a cable car to Skalnate Pleso 1,754m. Next, follow the well-marked tourist trail to explore three of the Tatras' historic mountain huts - Rainerova, Teryho, and Zamkovskeho - each with a unique story and traditional hospitality to offer. Next, take a break at the Cold Creek Waterfalls, a natural wonder where you can refresh with the cool mountain air and soak up the magnificent views. Finally, wrap up your journey with an optional funicular cable car ride from Hrebienok to Smokovec before returning to your hotel.

Walking: 7hrs, 15km/9mi, 660m up, 1416m down. 

DAY 3- Hike through the beautiful Studena Dolina Valley to Zbojnicka, or ‘Robbers’ Hut.

Today, we will take a funicular to Hrebienok, which will serve as our starting point for an exciting hike through the Studena Dolina Valley. While traversing the valley, you can admire the colourful flowers, inhale the fresh scent of pine trees, and listen to rare birds singing in the mountains. As we make our way through the valley, you will notice that it gradually widens, revealing terraced mountain lakes towering above. Finally, at an altitude of 1,960m, we will reach Zbojnicka Hut, also known as the 'Robbers' Hut', once a hunters' lodge where poachers would stalk the valley. Nowadays, it is a popular trekking base where you can savour a delicious lunch. After lunch, we will return to Hrebienok, where the hike began. From there, we will make our way back to the hotel. Walking: 6hrs, 12km/7,5mi, 756m up, 756m down. 

DAY 4-Your tours comes to an end.

ter breakfast, hop on a mountain tram towards Strbske Pleso, Slovakia's highest village. Here you can admire a picturesque mountain lake. one of the most photographed spots in Slovakia. From there, embark on a scenic walk to Popradske Pleso hut, with another stunning mountain lake at an altitude of 1,494m.
