Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu
On your arrival, the airport representative of Approved Holidays receives you and drops you at the hotel. Enjoy your time at the hotel and we briefly explain the program details about the further itinerary. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour and Overnight at Nagarkot
Having breakfast at the hotel, we set off for the Kathmandu sightseeing tour, which is led by a professional tour guide. It covers mainly three UNESCO-listed world heritage sites that are world-renowned Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage destinations and are located at prime locations in Kathmandu.
Pashupatinath temple is renowned as one of the most-visited Hindu pilgrimage sites in the world with its cultural significance. The main pagoda-style shrine with a golden top has four doors and it has been surrounded by ample temples, forests, and ashrams. Tourists find it great to see the spiritual vibes, arts and architecture, and crematory places.
Boudhanath Stupa, located around 7 km from Thamel, is another primary attraction today. Located at the heart of the city, a huge dome of Boudhanath stupa stands still spreading love and affection, warmth and peace. It is one of the biggest stupas of mandala shape in the world, surrounded by
Day 3 Morning sunrise view and drive back to Kathmandu via Changu Narayan and Bhaktapur Durbar Square.
Early in the morning, Nagarkot viewpoint offers impressive Himalayan views of the Everest range, Gaurishanker, Rolwaling range, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, and Langtang range. The golden touch of sunrise brings more enthusiasm to travelers. After having breakfast at the hotel, drive to Changu Narayan Temple, which is located at the hilltop point and is the most ancient temple in the Kathmandu valley. It has got a museum of antique collections.
From Changu Narayan temple, drive down to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, which is an impressive site to explore wooden and stone sculptures, deities sculptures, temples, museums, and ponds. The square has got 55 window palace, a golden gate, a Dattatraya temple, a museum, a traditional tap, and a pottery square. Juju Dhau (yogurt) is really a famous thing to try in Bhaktapur. Then drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 Half Day Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour
After a wonderful breakfast at the hotel, set out for the half-day guided sightseeing tour in Kathmandu. This town has abundant cultural attractions and we cover a couple of UNESCO-listed sites- Swoyambhunath and Kathmandu Durbar square. Swayambhunath Stupa is believed to have been self-sprung in the medieval era. It is a world-renowned Buddhist center, which is located at the hilltop point. All types of religious devotees visit this place, which shows a perfect example of religious tolerance and mutual relationship.
Kathmandu Durbar Square is in the crowd of the bustling city center. It is also known as Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square, which is regarded as an open museum. An excellent form of wooden and stone sculptures can be seen in carving. Image of Lord Kal Bhairav, Swet Bhairav, 9 story temple, the abode of virgin Goddess- Kumari is the prime attraction in Kathmandu Durbar Square. Exploring the major sites, drive back to the hotel.
