Day 1: Accra – Tamale - Mole Tour
Early morning departure for the airport for a flight to Tamale, located in the Northern Region of Ghana. Upon arrival you will embark on a scenic drive to Mole. Participate in a late afternoon safari trek through the park to catch a glimpse of the game before night settles.
Day 2: Mole Tour - Mole Mognori Village
Devote this day to visiting the Mognori Eco Village, located 15 km from the main entrance of Mole National Park and closest community living near the park. Embark on a cultural tour of the Village to get a unique insight into the culture of the people living in close proximity with nature while maintaining their rich cultural heritage. The tour will offer you the opportunity to see how the villagers organize their households, process shea butter, and prepare their staple foods. Sit back and watch with admiration or actively partake in the cultural performance conducted by the dance assemble. Return to Mole National Park to embark on an afternoon safari trek to view the rest of West Africa’s big game that were not viewed earlier. Then return to your hotel in Mole. Day 3: Larabanga Mosque - Farewell and Departure
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and depart for a visit to Larabanga mosque. The Larabanga Mosque is the oldest in all of Ghana, possibly in all of West Africa. It has survived for centuries despite inclement weather and bad reconstruction projects. After your tour, depart for Tamale for final departure back to Accra.
