Day 1: Puerto Montt / Puerto Varas
Upon arrival at Puerto Montt airport, you will be met by our representative and escorted to your hotel in Puerto Varas. Our representative will assist you with check-in procedures and provide you with a detailed itinerary, covering all the services included in your tour and additional information on the organization of your trip to Chile. Overnight in Puerto Varas.
Day 2: Puerto Varas: Half-day Excursion to Llanquihue, Frutillar & Puerto Octay
Breakfast at the hotel. HD Excursion to Llanquihue, Frutillar & Puerto Octay We will start the tour visiting the city of Llanquihue, famous for being part of the old Colonists' Route. Then, we will border the Llanquihue Lake to go to Frutillar. The city of Frutillar is a beautiful town with reminiscences of Bavaria, the place from where its first inhabitants arrived. It emerged in 1856 as a boarding pier. We will walk around its old houses and have the possibility to admire the incomparable view of the Osorno and Puntiagudo volcanoes. Optionally, passengers can access the German Colonial Museum that shows the life of the colonists and their traditions. From here, we will go to Puerto Octay which was the first port of departure for agricultural products to Osorno and was marked by the German influence. Overnight in Puerto Varas. Day 3: at leisure at Puerto Varas

OPTIONAL EXCURSION: FD to Chiloe Island: Ancud, Caulin & Puñihuil Penguin Rookery (For an additional cost - please consult) We begin the tour in our way to Pargua, south of Puerto Varas city; here we will aboard a ferry to sail through the Chacao Channel, this channel separates the continent of Chiloe Island. During the navigation we see sea wolves, pelicans and sea birds autochthon in this area. The ferry berths at Chacao pier, here we see the houses that are built with Alerce wood, and the Churches that are National Heritage Site then continue along a coast route and we are going to visit Caulín beach, a place very famous for the oysters and a rich marine fauna. Later we will go to Puñihuil beach; there we get a boat, that will take us to a small island where we find the Magallanes Penguin and Humboldt Penguin, this is the place where this two species make their nests, an during generations they have coexisted together, making this islands the only place in the world where this happen. The tour guide will explain to us the way of life of these birds, the surroundings and the abundance of food that makes possible that these islands become a wild paradise. It’s important to say that Puñihuil was declared National Heritage for its ecological relevance. Later we continue our trip to Ancud city, where we can see the San Antonio Fort. Day 4: Puerto Varas / Puerto Montt / ...
Breakfast at the hotel. At the set time, you will be transferred to the Puerto Montt airport to take your flight. End of our services.
