Day 1 Rainforest Waterfalls, Silvered Leaf Monkeys & Fireflies
12 PM Complimentary pick up from your Kuala Lumpur hotel lobby and proceed to the rainforest waterfalls of 7 tiers at 120 meters - 'splashed' in a 500 hectares of lush forest reserves . A 30 minute drive and a 30 minute hike should take us to much awaited waterfalls.
Smaller animals as in monkeys, serpent eagles, cuckoos, woodpeckers are sometimes visible. The waters fall to form a mini pool and you are to grab this opportunity now to swim and wallow under the cascading power of the gushing mountain waters. After a freshen up, drive through scenic countryside roads to see houses on stilts.
The silvered leaf monkeys are an adorable must see as, they will clamber all over you if you have food in your hands. Some pictures are posted in the photo album. After a frolicking time with them and photo shoots aplenty, adjourn to a riverside restaurant for fresh seafood dinner. It is sumptuous. (included in package).

Fireflies are fascinating lighting bugs. They flash synchronously by a biochemical reaction in their light organs situated at their bottoms. Catch a boat for an exhilarating ride in the night to watch dazzling fireflies in their dazzling best like a Christmas tree. Fireflies rest, feed and go into a frenzy in love making... so much so the male dies after the mating ritual. In the meantime, the boatman manoeuvres along the mangrive trees for a fish eye view of fireflies gallivanting and looking for partners for love making. Silence to prevail !
Return to Kuala Lumpur by 9 pm. End of tour.
