Day 1 Riga
Welcome to Riga, the Capital of Latvia. Upon arrival at Riga airport you'll be met and transferred to our centrally located hotel. This evening join the welcome meeting in the hotel lobby, at around 7pm, with champagne-cocktail or juice.
Day 2 Riga Old Town & New Year Gala
Riga is the largest of the three Baltic capitals and founded by the German bishop Albert in 1201. This morning we'll enjoy the walking tour of the Old Town including Riga Castle, the Dome Cathedral, St. Peter's Church, followed by the Swedish Gate, the Three Brother and the Large and Small Guilds. This afternoon you'll have time to explore Riga independently or take the opportunity to join the optional walking tour to Riga Art Nouveau district (book and pay locally). Your day comes to an end with an entertaining and fabulous New Year Gala with music, dance and a buffet dinner.
Day 3 Optional Lido Recreational Centre
This morning there's free time to explore more of this vibrant city that boasts a real kaleidoscope of architectural styles and gothic spires. This afternoon there's the opportunity to join an optional excursion to the Lido Recreational Centre (book and pay locally). This large restaurant and entertainment centre is located in the largest wooden log house in Europe, surrounded by a lot of winter attractions. End this optional excursion with a traditional Latvian dinner before heading back to the hotel.
Day 4 Riga
Our New Year in Riga experience ends after breakfast this morning and hotel check out. A transfer will be provided to take you to the airport.
