Day 1: Royal Ascot - Friday - Coronation Stakes Day
** Note that Friday, 21st of June 2024 is a provional date that will be confirmed by Ascot Racecourse in due course. You can book this day trip now but note that, whilst unlikely, the date may change by a week or two. ** Departing at 10:00am from London's Victoria Coach Station we head to Ascot Racecourse, depending upon traffic, a journey of approx 90 minutes. On arrival, a full buffet lunch will be provided along with an excellent choice of bubbles, red and white wine, beer and cider. PP Travel has the largest picnic area in the main coach park 10. It is inside the main 1 mile straight, only a few minutes walk to the entrance of either the Windsor Enclosure or the Queen Anne Enclousre. You will have plenty of time to enjoy lunch and our generous servings of refreshments before entering the racecourse at your own leisure to watch the Royal procession pass at 2:00pm. The first race is normally 2:35pm. Entrance to the racecourse is included in our price. The last race of the day is usually at 6:10pm. Our departure time back to London will give you extra time to join the live bands in the Windsor Enclosure or the famous sing-along at the rear of the Grandstand, in the Queen Anne Enclosure. Depending upon traffic, we aim to have you in central London at Victoria Coach Station by 9:30pm.
