Day 1: Royal Ascot - Thursday - Ladies Day Gold Cup
** Note that Thursday, 20th of June 2024 is a provional date that will be confirmed by Ascot Racecourse in due course. You can book this day trip now but note that, whilst unlikely, the date may change by a week or two. ** Departing from London's Victoria Coach Station at 9:30am we head to Ascot Racecourse, depending upon traffic, a journey of approx 90 minutes. Please be at Victoria Coach Station at 9am to allow time for boarding the coach for the 9:30am departure. Join our exclusive pre-race picnic area, inside the main Ascot straight, immediately upon arrival. Bubbles (naturally on arrival), along with lunch, our wine and cheese tent, open bar backed up with live music - a fantastic start to a big day out. You will have time to enjoy lunch along with our generous servings of refreshments ( whites, reds, bubbly, cider and beer) before walking from the picnic/party zone in coach park 10 red to enter the racecourse at your own leisure. It is an approximate 10 minute walk to the Windsor enclosure and 15 minutes to the Queen Anne enclosure. The Royal procession begins at 2:00pm. The first race is then normally 2:30pm. Entrance to the racecourse enclosure of your choice is included in our price. Once you enter the racecourse, food and drinks are at your own cost. The last race of the day is usually at 6:10pm. Our departure time back to London will give you extra time to join the live bands in the Windsor Enclosure or the famous sing-along at the rear of the Grandstand, in the Queen Anne Enclosure. Depending upon traffic, we aim to have you in central London at Victoria Coach Station by 9:30pm.
