Day 1: Welcome to Tunisia
Flight to Djerba. If you book the flight through ASI Reisen, you will be picked up at the airport by our ASI guide and driven to the hotel. Board Dinner Accommodation Djerba Beach Hotel
Day 2: The gate to the Sahara
In the morning we leave the island of Djerba and drive to Douz, an oasis town which is also known as the "Gateway to the Sahara". On our way to the desert we will make a stop in Matmata, a Berber village known for its cave dwellings in the ground, which we will also visit. By off-road vehicle we will continue to the eastern great erg, the largest erg (sand sea) in the Sahara. Here we load our camels and spend our first night in the desert. Day 3: Desert Trekking

Day 4: The hot Huidhat Errched
We slowly move on through the huge dunes to the hot spring Huidhat Errched, a small lake in the middle of the sand, which occasionally hosts some species of water birds. Day 5: Everyday life of the Bedouins
Our caravan starts moving again and crosses the endless sandy sea of the Sahara. During our trek we will not only taste the difference between Bedouin and Berber cuisine, but we will also be able to help our companions with the preparation. Another night under the stars in the deserted desert will give us an unforgettable experience. Day 6: Ksar Ghilane Oasis
After breakfast, our caravan moves on through the great eastern erg in the middle of the desert. We can once again enjoy the beautiful impressions of the deserted Sahara before we set up our final camp in the oasis Ksar Ghilane. Here we can refresh ourselves in the natural pool of the oasis and enjoy a last dinner with our caravan. Day 7: The White Mosque of Chenini
This morning we leave the desert and continue to the Berber village of Chenini, built on the tops of two mountains with a white mosque rising in the middle. In this fascinating village there will be lunch for us before we drive back to Djerba. Here we will review the impressions of the last days at a joint dinner. Day 8: Farewell from Tunisia
