    You will get to know the city of Salzburg very well, the lake district area and also the nearby area of Berchtesgaden. 

    This tour will show you a nice mix of Salzburg, from the town of Salzburg to the lake district are and to the Berchtesgaden Alps. The tour is offered without accomodation and we use as a base the town of Salzburg.

Itinerary 
Day 1 Salzburg

We will pick you up in Salzburg and show you the city of Salzburg and it's surrounding. This includes a city tour of Salzburg, the drive to the Leopoldskron palace, the Mirabell palace, the lake district area. We will show you the sights where the sound of Music was filmed and also other movies. Besides that you will see this fascinating city and the fascinating surrounding.

Day 2 Berchtesgaden

Today we will show you the area of Berchtesgaden. We will drive from Salzburg to Hallein (possibility to visit the saltmines) and then from there to the area of Obersalzberg where you have the possibility to see the Hitler's eagle's nest (only in the period from May until October). Then we will show you the village of Berchtesgaden and the area of Königssee, or the area of Ramsau and Hintersee before we will bring you back to the hotel in Salzburg.

Day 3 Salzburg

today we will  explore the remaining area of Salzburg and Werfen. We will show you the world's largest ice caves (only available between may and October, in the other times we will show you the area of Filzmoos) and the fortress of Werfen (only possible to visit between April and December).  We will show you the mountains of Salzburg and the Alps.

Or alternatively we will show you the area of Hallstatt, wit this unesco world heritafe village, perched directly on the mountain and seems to fall directly into the lake. 

 

Today we will show you the area of Berchtesgaden.
