Day 1: Arrive Stockholm and enjoy the ambiance of this buzzing city
Arrive in Stockholm and make your way to your centrally located hotel.
Sweden's capital is charming, vibrant and surrounded by beauty and water - hence its nickname, Venice of the North! Stockholm offers interesting museums and castles; the city offers a warm atmosphere and the old town has charming small alleyways boasting several famous restaurants.
On one of your afternoons here, be sure to make time for a visit to the ABBA museum with great interactive exhibits - a glass of champagne (for Dutch courage to get on stage & the pure fun of it) to accompany your tour is recommended! On the other hand, take the serious option & visit the Nobel Prize museum in the Old town.

Day 2: Guided Tour of the Old Town and Vasa Museum before exploring further with your Stockholm City Card
After breakfast, join your private guide for a 2.5 hour tour of the Old Town and Vasa Museum. Start in the oldest part of Stockholm, the Old Town, where once upon a time a city was founded, in 1252 to be exact. Follow your private guide through the narrow streets and over the cobblestone paths to discover the Royal Palace, the Stockholm Cathedral and of course the main square Stortorget with its colourful buildings, frequently seen on Instagram. Once you’ve scouted all the must-see spots, jump on board one of the public ferries take you across the harbour to the island of Djurgården. One of the most awe-striking attractions on this island is the Vasa Museum.
Arriving at the Vasa Museum, skip the line and enter directly inside to see the giant warship that has made it into history books – it will be no surprise why! With your guide, learn all about the most well-preserved ship in the whole wide world, the Vasa, including when she was built, why she sank and how she was salvaged.
On this all-in-one walking tour, you will see Stockholm from the water – a sight for sore eyes – and visit not one but two islands in the inner-city. You typically end this tour inside the Vasa Museum after a short guided tour so you may continue to enjoy the many great exhibits. After all, we recommend you stay on the island and visit neighbouring museums – you’ll be glad you did, including the ABBA museum!
This tour ends in the Vasa Museum so guests may continue to enjoy the museum or continue to museums nearby. Guests make their own way back via walking or public transport (ticket provided by guide included)
In the late afternoon, stroll the shopping districts or perhaps add an optional rooftop tour
