Day 1: Arrival Day: Airport Transfer & Hostel Hangs
You’ve touched down and you’re officially Down Under! Now it’s time to get you to your hostel for your first night of accommodation. Did we mention that the hostel you’re staying in has the best hostel view in the world? Check out that photo! After a long flight, this place is exactly where you will want to be. This day is all yours to relax and unwind before you meet up with your guide the next morning. One week before your arrival, your guide will get in touch with your personalised Sydney Minipack itinerary so that you have an idea of what to expect.
Day 2: Welcome Day: Meet Your Guide & Explore Sydney!
Today’s the day we get to meet you! The first thing we want to do is get you organised for the rest of your time in Australia, so in the morning we will set up: your bank account, sim card and Tax File Number. Now the paperwork is out of the way, you’ll be ready for your personalised walking tour. You’ve seen Sydney on the TV, talked about coming here for years, and now you’re getting up close to its iconic sights while learning about its history, people and culture. After today, you’ll have the best Instagram story to ever and a lot of jealous friends and followers!
Day 3: Admin Day: Expert Advice on Employment & Travel
Today is all about figuring out what you want to do with your time here by giving you all the tools you need to make it the time of your life. Your guide will be helping you with anything and everything from resume writing, to farm work information, to organising any future travel plans you may have. From skydiving to strawberry picking, your guide will be able to help with all of it, so make sure to ask all the questions you may have. By the end of the day, you’ll be left feeling prepared, confident and ready to take on whatever comes next!
Day 4: Exploring Day: Do Your Thing, Sydney Style
By now, we will have given you a list of things to see, places to be and foods to eat. Now it’s up to you to discover Sydney and it’s suburbs at your own pace and however you like. Whether you go for a swim at the famous Bronte Baths or explore hipster suburbs such as Newtown and Marrickville, we know this city will steal your heart. To top your day off you can watch the sunset from the Sydney Tower Eye (ticket included) and get 360 degree views of the city. Isn’t she beautiful?! You will also get an entry ticket to a Sydney Bar Crawl which runs every Saturday. This means you get a little taste of the nightlife and a chance to meet other travellers who are starting their adventure just like you.
