Day 1: Transfer from Kisoro Airport to Bwindi National Park
A Bamboo Ecotours driver-guide will pick you up at Kisoro Airport and drive to the lodge. The transfers from Kisoro Airport usually take place between 8:00 am, and 9:00 am. The incoming flights into Kisoro Airport originate from Entebbe International Airport. There are no international flights that fly into Kisoro. The drive from Kisoro Airport to Bwindi National Park (Rushaga and Nkuringo gates) is estimated to take 2hrs. There are optional activities to do on the way to Bwindi National Park. These include canoeing on Lake Mutanda, Coffee Making Experience, and Community Experiences.
Day 2: Transfer from Bwindi National Park to Kisoro Airport
After you have completed gorilla trekking at Bwindi National Park, a Bamboo Ecotours driver/guide will pick you up at the lodge near Bwindi National Park and drive to Kisoro Airport. From Kisoro Airport, you will board an AeroLink flight to Entebbe International Park. AeroLink flights from Kisoro Airport to Entebbe typically depart between 8am and 9am. Plan on leaving the lodge at around 6am to catch the flight on time.
