Day 1: ARRIVAL UBUD
Meet your driver at the hotel´s reception at around noon for your transfer to Ubud. After the check in to your hotel, in the afternoon, Balinese batik class awaits for you. Learn about many features of Balinese batik, its form, motifs, techniques used, and its history. An interesting hint is to compare and find the difference between the motifs unique to Balinese batik. After this two hour craft experience spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure. (We recommend you book an additional night or flight which arrives before 12 pm to be able to participate in the tour). Overnight in Ubud.
Day 2: UBUD
Wake up to your luscious breakfast at the hotel, meet your driver at the lobby and get ready for a spectacular day full of arts. You will be heading to ARMA Museum, where you meet Agung Rai, the inspiring founder of this museum, who will take you for a little walk along the real treasures of Bali. The tour will allow you to absorb the silence, the sounds, and the colours of the island while it awakes. After the lunch, served at the local restaurant (included), our tour continues to Tegalalang, stunning rice terrace, beautifully made by nature entice. Afterwards continue through a scenic drive via Petulu to reach the center of Ubud, the Ubud palace where the Royal Family still lives and at night the garden is used for staging some of Bali’s most important dances, such as the Legong Dance, Barong Dance, Ramayana and Mahabrata ballets. Just next to the palace, lies the Ubud art market, the most popular traditional market in the entire island of Bali. Here, walking through the aisle, the local vendor sells many things such as Balinese handicraft and textile. At the end pay a short visit to the monkey forest - home to a healthy population of long-tailed macaques before returning to your hotel. Overnight in Ubud.
Day 3: UBUD
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and after prepare for the visit of Balinese traditional village in the heart of Bali where 12 sacred fountains are located in the nearby temple. This temple is very popular for the Balinese people and usually busy during the full moon. The 12 spouts are used by worshippers to purify themselves. The Guardian of the temple will accompany you to show you the unique sites around the temple before he guides you to the water blessing ritual, during which you pour your head and the whole body into the sacred water. Afterwards you follow up with the visit of a Pemangku, a Balinese temple guardian, gifted healer and a fortune teller. He will introduce you to an ancient Balinese palm reading method that interprets your character and destiny. In the afternoon you will be transferred back to your hotel and the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Ubud.
Day 4: DEPARTURE UBUD
Enjoy your tasty breakfast at the hotel and at the indicated time meet your driver who will transfer you to the Denpasar international airport to follow with your travel arrangements.
