Itinerary
Day 1: Vancouver - Tsawwassen - The Butchart Gardens - Victoria

From Vancouver we will drive to the Tsawwassen Bay Ferries and take a scenic two hour cruise across the Georgia Strait, past the small inner islands, travelling West.

STOP 1: The first stop on Vancouver Island, The Butchart Gardens.

These gardens are spectacular, a Butchart family legacy for over a hundred years, with 55 acres of beatuful blooms and displays for you to meander through. You can spend all your time in the gardens or also choose to have a British High Tea.

STOP 2: The Parliamentary buildings and the Fairmont Empress Hotel.

Enjoy the architucture of these two buildings which were designed by the same young Architect in the late 1800's and the early 20th century.

STOP 3: The Inner Harbour.

Victoria's Inner Harbour is a beautiful spot on the waterfront. Walk down onto the docks and enjoy some fresh-caught seafood while you search for harbour seals and sea otters hiding and popping up around the boats.

We settle into a Hotel in Victoria for the night. So by late afternoon, you'll have free time to explore at your leisure.

Day2: Victoria - Comox - Nanaimo - Vancouver

After breakfast we will start heading up Island towards Comox.

STOP 1: Nanaimo.

We'll stop here just briefly to stretch our legs, maybe get a snack or a beverage.

STOP 2: Heritage Acres in Comox.

Heritage Acres is a farm and agricultural museum. The site covers over 10 acres and features a number of historic buildings, including a barn, a blacksmith shop, a schoolhouse, and a log cabin. Visitors to Heritage Acres can learn about the history of farming in the Comox Valley and explore the various exhibits and displays.

STOP 3: We will head back to Nanaimo where we'll be catching the ferry over to Horseshoe Bay.

If time permits, we can explore some of this Bustling Island Port.

STOP 4: We return back to Vancouver for the end of this two-day tour.
