Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Hann. mouths

You will travel individually to Hann. Münden by train or car. Here you can stroll after their arrival comfortably by the 3-river city. Here the Fulda and Werra rivers join at the Weserstein to form the Weser. Over 700 restored half-timbered houses from six centuries make up Hann. Münden's old town. The town hall of Hann. Münden is considered one of the most beautiful representative buildings of the Weser Renaissance. In the late afternoon there will be a welcome as well as information talk and the handover (if booked).

Day 2: By Hann. Münden to Bad Karlshafen/Beverungen

You start your journey at the Weserstein. On your way to Bad Karlshafen, you'll touch on Hemeln, charmingly situated in the Weser Valley, and the former Benedictine abbey of Bursfelde, founded in 1093. Bad Karlshafen's baroque old town provides a charming contrast to the Weser Renaissance, and the town's Huguenot Museum recalls its founders. But perhaps a stay at the Weser spa will entice you? "Brine spa" is another epithet of Bad Karlshafen. You can stay overnight in the town or in neighboring Beverungen with its partially preserved moated castle of the same name.

Passing the porcelain town of Fürstenberg with the castle of the same name and the old Hanseatic town of Höxter, you will drive today to Holzminden or on to Bodenwerder. Holzminden is called the "city of scents and flavors" because the production of scents and flavors is very important here. And so a fragrant tour leads to the sights of the town. Bodenwerder is the home of Baron Münchhausen, known as the Liar Baron, to whom a museum is dedicated here.
