Itinerary
Day 1: Cape Town - Hermanus - Arniston)

Day 1: (Lunch) Departing from Cape Town at 09h00, the first destination is Hermanus. This quaint seaside village is arguably one of the finest land based whale watching venues world-wide. The town whale crier announces the presence of whales by blowing his horn made of dried seaweed. The steep cliffs and deep water allow the whales to come within a few meters of the shore. En Route to Hermanus we will stop at Stony Point in Betty's Bay to get up close and mingle with hundreds of African Penguins. After lunch and an optional wine tasting the trail takes us to the Overberg Coast and an overnight stop at Arniston. Spend some time in the late afternoon whale watching then enjoy dinner at the Arniston Hotel & Spa which boasts magnificent ocean views.

Day 2: Arniston - Mossel Bay - Knysna

Day 2: (Breakfast + Lunch) After breakfast the journey takes us through forest and lakes to Knysna. En Route we stop at Mossel Bay and take a boat cruise out to Seal Island. Here you will see hundreds of Cape Fur Seals and perhaps a Great White Shark. The day is ended with an optional evening sunset cruise on the Knysna Lagoon. Overnight in Knysna - Jewel of the Garden Route. Accommodation will be at the Knysna Waterfront in a luxury Villa or Guest House in the Village.

Day 3: Marine Eco - Boat Excursion trip through the Knysna Heads.

Day 3: ( Breakfast ) In the early morning an exciting boat ride through the Knysna Heads will take you out to sea and to visit the playground of the Whales and Dolphins. The afternoon is free for optional activities. These include an E Bike Ride, Kayaking, a forest hiking trail or the popular Knysna Township Tour. Guests may also go for a beach walk at Brenton on Sea - keep an eye open for marine life and the rare endangered Black Oyster Catcher.

Day 4: Plettenberg Bay

Day 4: (Breakfast) After breakfast the tour winds its way to Plettenberg Bay. Once again you have the optional opportunity to go to sea and experience whales and dolphins at close range. For those not wanting to go out onto the ocean an alternative land based whale watching trip will be arranged at Keurbooms and Natures Valley. Lunch may be enjoyed at the beachfront before departing for George Airport for your onward flight.
