Itinerary
Day 1: Seoul

Welcome to South Korea! Upon arrival at Seoul Airport, you will be met and transferred to your accommodation.

Day 2: Seoul - Seoraksan (B, L, D) 

This morning we will head to Seoraksan National Park in which we pass through Sokcho Fishing village. After, we continue to Mt Seorak region which is a UNESCO Biosphere Preservation District since 1982 and houses various rare species of flora and fauna. After that, we will take a tour to Shinheungsa Temple where we will take the cable car to Gweongeumseong Fortress to see the castle ruins and the spectacular views of the mountains and land within Seoraksan National Park. After your day tour your tour guide will drive you back to your hotel for the night.

Day 3: Mt Seoraksan - Andong - Daegu (B, L) 

After breakfast we leave for Daegu en-route visiting the traditional village of Andong. With its preserved traditional houses and unique mask dancing performance this unique village is home to the Ryu clan of Pungsan and is well known for its traditional houses. We then, travel to the Mabijeong Mural Village located in Daegu city. Visit Dongseongno a shopping district eye pleasing and colourful place. Shop till you drop! Return to the hotel in the evening.

Day 4: Daegu - Gyeongju (B, L)

Today, we leave Daegu behind and make our way to Gyeongju city. On arrival, enjoy a day tour of Gyeongju city. We begin, by visiting Cheomseongdae Astronomical Observatory, constructed during the reign of Queen Seon-deok (632-647 A.D). We will then visit Gyeongju National Museum, home to many Silla kingdom stone relics. Visit both Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram Grotto which are UNESCO sites dating back to 700 A.D and are Buddhist stone temples that feature cultural relics such as pagodas, bridges and Buddhist figures. After that, we head to Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond which is an artificial pond located in Gyeongju National Park. It was part of the palace complex of the ancient Silla kingdom and was constructed by King Munmu in 674 CE. Enjoy your day travelling around Daegu and moving onto Gyeongju city. Your tour guide will take your hotel where you can enjoy your night and leisure time

Day 5: Gyeongju - Seoul (B, L) 

Today we will visit North Korea 3rd Infiltration Tunnel, located within the Demilitarised Zone (DMZ) a 44 km drive northwest of Seoul. An entire infantry division can move through the tunnel in an hour. Visit the Imjingak Resort’s Unification Park and North Korea Centre to gain an insight into the Korean War and their prayers for the unification of the country. View People School and Gaeseong City, the old capital city of the Goryeo Kingdom, from the Dora Observation Platform. See inside North Hall displaying exhibits of North Korean lifestyle, and the Exhibition Hall housing old tanks and planes from the Korean War. Return to your hotel for the night.

Day 6: Seoul (B) 

After breakfast we will wander the streets of Seoul. Our first stop is Cheong Wa Dae (otherwise known as Blue House) which is the residence of the President Cheong Wa Dae. We will then visit the Gyeongbokgung palace (North Palace) one of the most beautiful and largest of the five palaces as well as the Amethyst store which is world famous and has healing powers. After that, we will go to Insa-dong which is located in the heart of the city where old but precious goods are on display in an alley way. Wander your way down the alley way through the museums, traditional restaurants, teahouses and cafes. Then we will make our way to the Korean Folk Village (Bukchon Village) to gain an insight into life during the Joseon Dynasty. Finally, we will make our way to the Seoullo 7017 area which was once an elevated road that connected the eastern and western sides of Seoul station although these days it has become a sky garden. Enjoy your night at the hotel

Day 7: Seoul - Destination (B)

After breakfast, transfer to Incheon Airport for your flight to your destination.
