Day 1: CUSCO CITY TOUR & 4 RUINS
You can pick the time: - From 8 am - 12:00 pm - From 13:30 - 17:30 pm Visit: The CATHEDRAL with its fabulous art: paintings and works in carved cedar wood gilded with gold leaf, and silver, the TEMPLE OF THE SUN or KORICANCHA; “the enclosure of gold ", with its perfect stonework and architecture reflect the fact that it was the most important and most sacred temple; the sacred hub of the mystical Incan Empire. The Incan remains of temples: SAQSAYWAMAN; wonder of the world where the cyclopean stones of more than 100 tons fit so perfectly that one can not introduce a knife between them. QENQO dedicated to the Mother Earth and the four natural element. PUCA PUCARA Archaeological site and the baths of TAMBOMACHAY, temple where the water was worshiped.
Day 2: SACRED VALLEY TOUR: Condors, Alpaca Farm, Pisac Ruins & Market, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero
7:30 – 8 am: We will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco Visit the Cochahuasi Animal Sanctuary where you will some rescued animals, especially condors or you can also visit a farm where we will see and take nice pictures of alpacas, llamas, vicunas and guanacos. Later visit PISAC located right at the entrance to the Sacred Valley, the amazing Inca city that constitutes one of the most important Archaeological Parks in the region. Visit the fine temples, palaces and well preserved and vast farming terraces; built even as far as the edge of precipices that still keep their straight sometimes vertical aqueducts; an imposing and unforgettable sight that also offers very beautiful landscapes. Visit PISAC the Colonial Village, where you will see the famous "Indian Market" and the handicrafts or "souvenirs" market, this is your chance to enjoy a blend of color, traditions and people, and bargain for exotic craftworks. After lunch tour to the oldest continuously inhabited dwellings in South America, where people are still living in the same houses and palaces as 500 years ago; the ancient Incan town of OLLANTAYTAMBO, with its very impressive constructions built with huge boulders and its ancient heritage that will leave us astonished. If you go back to Cusco you will visit Chinchero, visit a textile’s workshop where we will see and learn (step by step) how Andean people still make very beautiful textiles using very old traditional techniques. 17:00 – 17:30 pm: Finally we will take you to your hotel in Cusco. Note: If you wish we can drop you at the train station in Ollantaytambo or any hotel in Urubamba.
Day 3: MACHUPICCHU GUIDED TOUR: PRIVATE AND FLEXIBLE
You have to arrive in Machupicchu on your own Your tour begins 10 minutes before the time for your entrance tickets for Machupicchu, our guide will meet you by the entrance of the only hotel located outside Machupicchu: The Belmond Sanctuary Lodge. During the 2 1/2 - 3 hours private tour, you'll visit the most important viewpoints for your classical pictures, The Temples of The Sun, The Main, The Condor, etc., The palaces of the Inca Princess, The Quarry, etc, etc Your tour will end next to the Belmond Sanctuary Lodge outside of Machupicchu where you can have lunch (at your own expense). Please note that you have to buy your Train, Machupicchu, Huaynapicchu and bus tickets in advance According to your train arrival be careful to buy the tickets for Machupicchu.
