Itinerary
Day 1: Unirea Salt Mine-Peles Castle-Brasov City

We will leave in the morning, and we will head towards Unirea Salt Mine. Known as the biggest salt mine in Europe, Slanic Prahova stands today as one of the most important watering and climatic resorts in Romania. Unique in the country, but also in Europe, the salt mine is formed out of 14 rooms, trapezium shaped. The ventilation is naturally made, and the 12 degree C temperature is constant throughout the whole year. Next, head to Sinaia City, where you will visit the first castle: Peles Castle. Peles Castle is a masterpiece of German new-renaissance architecture, considered by many to be one of the most stunning castles in Europe. Brasov is home to one of the narrowest streets in Europe: Rope Street (Strada Sforii). Take a peek inside the Black Church (Biserica Neagra), the largest Gothic church in Romania. Though its name, Biserica Neagră (the Black Church), may seem dark and foreboding, the building is nothing to fear. You will be overnight in Brasov.

Day 2: Brasov-Sighisoara -Dracula Castle -Brasov

After breakfast, we will go to Sighisoara Medieval City. Sighisoara still stands as one of the most beautiful and best-preserved medieval towns in Europe. Designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, this perfectly intact 16th-century gem with nine towers, cobbled streets, burgher houses, and ornate churches rivals the historic streets of Old Prague or Vienna for atmospheric magic. The Clock Tower, the house where Vlad Dracula (Vlad the Impaler) was born, and the Church of the Hill with its 500-year-old frescoes are just a few things really worth visiting in Sighisoara. Surrounded by an aura of mystery and legend and perched high atop a 200-foot-high rock, Bran Castle owes its fame to its imposing towers and turrets, as well as to the myth created around Bram Stocker's Dracula.

In the evening, we'll be back in Brasov, where you will stay overnight.

Day 3: Brasov-Libearty Bear Sanctuary-Bucharest

On the last day, visit Libearty Bear Sanctuary. More than 69 hectares of luxuriant forest with rivers and ponds are now the home of almost 90 brown bears. Since 2008, this wild place has been occasionally visited, but under some strict rules meant to reintegrate the bears into their natural habitat and not disturb them. Most of the bears in the sanctuary were rescued from the most miserable and small cages, where they were used as a form of entertainment for tourist attractions.

Our journey ends in Bucharest.
