An imaginary east-west line that bisects the country at Brussels, divides the two regions. Consequently, Brussels is a city claimed by both the Flemish and the Walloons.

Luxembourg, a landlocked country in Western Europe, is bordered by France, Belgium, and Germany. The official languages of Luxembourg are Luxembourgish, French, and German.The area of the whole country is 998 square miles, and as of January it counted 562,958 inhabitants.Luxembourg's many small towns are lovely and well worth exploring. It's also an easy country to travel around, whether on foot in the capital city, on a driving tour through the picturesque countryside, or town-hopping by train. Travel beneath the monumental Brandenburg Gate, which forms the beginning of Unter den Linden and check out the Reichstag, home of Germany’s parliament, just nearby.
