Day 1: Tuxtla Gutiérrez - Sumidero Canyon – Chiapa de Corzo – San Cristóbal De Las Casas
You will be welcomed in Tuxtla Gutierrez and then head towards the pier where you will board a boat for a wonderful ride through the Sumidero Canyon, where you will admire its natural beauty and rich biodiversity. Next, you will head to the Colonial City of Chiapa de Corzo, where you will have the opportunity to explore and discover its history and culture, as well as purchase beautiful local crafts. You will then continue your journey to San Cristobal for your overnight stay. Remember, flight tickets not included and your arrival to Tuxtla Gutierrez must be before 1:00 pm. otherwise, additional charge will apply to the price.
Day 2: San Cristóbal De Las Casas – Chiflón Waterfalls – Montebello Lakes – San Cristóbal De Las Casas
You will depart from your hotel in San Cristobal and embark on a journey full of inspiration and wonders as you visit the Chiflon waterfall, where nature unfolds in all its splendor. You will continue your adventure to the Montebello Lakes, where the beauty of the landscape will captivate you and fill you with a sense of peace and harmony. You will then return to San Cristobal for your accommodation
Day 3: San Cristóbal De Las Casas – Indigenous Communities – San Cristóbal De Las Casas
In the morning, start the day leaving from your hotel in San Cristóbal to visit the enigmatic town of San Juan Chamula. There, you will have the opportunity to delve into their traditions and culture by visiting their impressive church. You will continue this exciting adventure by visiting the indigenous community of Zinacantán, where you will immerse yourself in their way of life; delighting in their delicious locally-made drink, while observing how the backstrap loom is used. After seeing their impressive production, you will be invited into their kitchen where you will have the opportunity to taste the delicious handmade tortillas. Day 4: San Cristóbal De Las Casas – Agua Azul Waterfalls – Misol Ha Waterfalls – Archaeological Zone of Palenque – Palenque
Early in the morning, you will depart from the hotel in San Cristobal to Palenque, where you will embark on a journey full of excitement by visiting the breathtaking Agua Azul waterfalls, where you can enjoy the view of their stunning blue color. You will continue this exciting journey to the Misol Há waterfalls, surrounded by lush tropical jungle. At the end, you will have the opportunity to delve into history and culture by visiting the Palenque archaeological site, where you can admire the impressive architecture and sculpture of the Mayan city. The Palace, the Temple of the Foliated Cross, and the Temple of the Sun are just a few of the wonders you can see there. Day 5: Palenque – La Venta Museum – Villahermosa Airport
Depart from the hotel in Palenque to visit La Venta Museum, where history, culture, and nature come together to provide a unique and inspiring experience. In the zoo area, you will admire the animals native to this tropical region, with the beautiful Jaguar as the protagonist. In the archaeological area, you will be amazed by the monumental Olmec heads and the human figures of animals and fantastic beings represented on altars and stelae. Afterwards, we will transfer you to the airport.
