Itinerary
Day 1: Sarria

Arrival at the accommodation is Under the client's own responsibility (see transfer service). Sarria is the starting point for many since it is very close to the mythical and lasts 100 km. This is the minimum distance that must be travelled to obtain the Compostela. Therefore, this medieval city is one of the most moving cities, and this does not disappoint either the experienced or the youngest pilgrims. It is a day to rest, acclimatize and tune in to the adventure that will begin the next day.

Day 2: Sarria - Portomarin

(22.2 km +/- 5 hours)

This first stage is flat, without many slopes and with a comfortable walk. We enter the deepest Galicia and let ourselves be enchanted by the beauty of chestnut trees, oaks, rivers, and meadows ... As well as charming towns like Barbadelos or Ferreiros. The old town of Portomarin lies under the waters of the Belesar reservoir. The river Miño indicates that we reach Portomarin.

Day 3: Portomarin - Palas de Rei

(24.8 km +/- 6 hours)

With low difficulty, we start the route towards Serra de Ligonde, where we climb up to 725 meters. On this day, the green landscapes are mixed with some paved areas and we start to see the famous "Cruzeiros". We highlight the villages of Castromaior, Ventas de Narón and Ligonde.

Day 4: Palas de Rei - Arzua

(28.5 km +/- 7 hours)

We enter the province of A Coruña. We leave Palas through Campo dos Romeiros, a traditional meeting place for pilgrims, to enter lush eucalyptus forests and medieval bridges, passing through beautiful towns such as Furelos, Boente and Castañeda. This stage is more difficult due to the distance, so it is advisable to stop in Melide and take the opportunity to eat the famous "Octopus a Feira" to finally arrive in Arzua, famous for its cheese.

Day 5: Arzua - O Pedrouzo

(19.4 km +/- 5 hours)

A short and quiet period to process everything experienced during the hike before arriving in Santiago the next day.

Day 6: O Pedrouzo - Santiago de Compostela

 (19.4 km +/- 4 hours)

Excitement and strange mixed sensations. It is the last stage. We recommend starting early to be able to participate in the pilgrimage mass that is celebrated at 12:00. First we reach Lavacolla and continue climbing Monte do Gozo, where we can catch the first glimpse of the long-awaited cathedral from afar. Finally, the Plaza del Obradoiro and the well-deserved personal satisfaction of having reached this point.
