Itinerary
Day 1: Full-Day Trek to Humantay Lake from Cusco 

Pick up from your accommodation from 4:00 to 4:30 a.m., then we will continue with our trip by bus until the city of Mollepata where we will enjoy a typical breakfast in the area. After breakfast we will return to our bus to continue our tour, to Soraypama. We travel along a photogenic path called the “Camino Real,” as we gain altitude. After reaching the tiny village, where few amenities exist, we will start our hike to the Humantay Lake at an altitude of 4,250 m.s.m., our ascent lasts about an hour and a half until we reach the Humantay Lake. After conquering the last hill, we will gaze down on a turquoise lake below, which is surrounded by steep peaks and an impressive glacier When we arrive at this beautiful Humantay lake, we will have about 1 hour to be able to enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds us and also fill us with the energy that this mountain of the snowy Salkantay has. When you are ready to hike back down, we will descend to Soraypampa while enjoying the breathtaking panoramic views of the snowy peaks. We will continue the trip to Mollepata where we will enjoy our lunch and after that we will return to Cusco, arriving at the city at 18:30h The bus will leave au at Plaza Regocijo, only 2 blocks from the main square.
