Overview

Chitwan National Park is a preserved area in the Terai Lowlands of south-central Nepal, known for its biodiversity. Its dense forests and grassy plains are home to rare mammals like one-horned rhinos and Bengal tigers. The park shelters numerous bird species, including the giant hornbill. Dugout canoes traverse the northern Rapti River, home to crocodiles

Itinerary
Day 1: Kathmandu – Chitwan (160km-6hrs Drive)

Drive to Chitwan. Be greeted by staff at bus station and transferred to your hotel. Overnight hotel. Enjoy your included 3 course dinner. (B,L,D)

Day 2: Chitwan Jungle Safari 

Enjoy a full day of jungle activities including elephant safari, nature walk, bird watching, jungle drive, Tharu stick cultural dancing, and more. If we are especially lucky, we will see the increasingly rare Bengal tiger. Sightings of the one-horned rhinoceros are also possible. Overnight hotel; (B,L,D)

Day 3: Chitwan – Kathmandu (Approx 200km – 6/7 Hrs Drive) 

After breakfast, drive to Kathmandu. Rest of day at leisure. (Flight Chitwan/Kathmandu available at additional cost). Overnight hotel in Thamel (Kathmandu) (B,)
