Also included is our pre La Tomatina party at the fabulous Umbracle Terrace nightclub right in the heart of the City of Sciences and Arts with free entry and cheap drink deals the night before La Tomatina. Plus once back in Valencia we have organised for you free entry before 9pm to the official huge La Tomatina After Party which goes all night. (If you arrive after 9pm, entry may not be free.)

Day 1: The Big Day - La Tomatina
You will meet us at one of our central Valencia hotels. This will be confirmed with you with contact numbers for PP Travel crew a couple of weeks prior to Tomatina. The transfer by coach to Bunol will be approximately 1 hour. On the way to Bunol you will be given details of the tomato fight by your on-coach guide + receive your all important entry wristband. The Tomatina festival commences around 11am, following the desperate attempts of the human ladders to grab a large ham at the top of a greased pole in the centre of town. Several dump trucks full of tomatoes are emptied into the main, very narrow street of the town and then the fun really begins with the locals and other travellers covering each other in tomatoes. After approximately one hour a gun blast signals the end of the fight and everyone goes for a welcome shower and joins in the fiesta. We depart Bunol mid afternoon returning to Valencia for another much needed wash and rest. We offer free admission to the official La Tomatina after party if arriving before 9pm (€5 admission after 9pm). This is nearly as big as the event itself, with over 5000 people attending this great outdoor event. Details on how to get to the official After Party will be given to you on the return coach trip to Valencia.
