​Day 1: Arrival at Salta

Upon arrival at Salta airport, you will be met by our representative and escorted to your hotel. Our representative will assist you with check-in procedures and provide you with a detailed itinerary, covering all the services included in your tour and additional information on the organization of your Argentina trip. You will also receive a contact information sheet with all the hotel details as well as our offices contact information and a 24-hour emergency number

Overnight: Salta

​Day 2: Salta: Full Day tour to the Humahuaca Gorge

The journey leaves from Salta, but really begins once arrived to Purmamarca Village where time will be enough to observe the Seven Colored Hill, the Church and the Craft Market on the square, and a small walk along its narrow streets. We visit Uquía and its church, where the paintings of the Arcabuceros Angels (important vestige in the zone of the Cuzqueña School) are kept. Arrival to Humahuaca will be at noon; this town has an important Church and the Independence Monument (the Indian) of the sculptor Soto Avendaño. After lunch we´ll observe, from the route, La Paleta del Pintor (Painter s Palette) framing the town of Maimara. We continue to San Salvador de Jujuy. Return to Salta.

Optional excursion (for an additional cost, please consult) Salinas Grandes (San Antonio de los Cobres) Departure from Salta towards the village of Tastil arriving then to San Antonio de los Cobres. There is a rest for lunch, to cross route 40 to reach the Salinas Grandes, just on the border between Salta and Jujuy. Then begins the descent down Cuesta de Lipán where condors are generally seen, arriving at the typical town Purmamarca and its Hill of Seven Colors. Return to Salta by highway
